Connectors
Bungee cord technology is a great way of connecting all sort of things. Ranks right up there with duct tape.
Flexible and adaptive, it’s the perfect means to rig a PsP onto just about any kind of easel (see more photos on Easel Kits pages).
You can see how simple it is to strap the clip-board to your French easel using a single 10” bungee cord threaded behind the hinges. (There are two 1¼” binder clips clipped onto the walls of the French easel drawer just behind the bottom of the inclined clip-board to keep it from sliding backwards.)
Hook-up is made a little easier, however,
if you hook two shorter bungee cords together instead of stretching a single 10” one to its maximum length.
You can temporarily shorten a bungee cord by pulling one of the crimped ends out of the hook and tying a knot below it. The knot you've tied will seat within the hook, replacing the crimped end.
Permanently shorten the cord by snipping off the crimped end. (Remember to flame-singe the cut end to prevent fabric from unraveling)
If you like, you can buy extra bungee cords (including ones that have been permanently shortened as just described)
